We are returning to Fareham College for our Annual General Meeting 2017 (arrangements attached) to be followed by Lunch at Avenue 141 Restaurant. The college stands to the west of the town, south of The Avenue (A27) and on the corner of Bishopsfield Road. It is about 1 mile distant from the town centre. For those attending and travelling by car there is designated on-site car parking. (See details attached). Alternatively the college is about ten minute’s brisk walk from the railway station where taxis are also available.
The price this year will be £15.00 per person. There is a bar within the restaurant where pre-lunch drinks and wine may be ordered. Arrivals from 12.30pm with lunch being taken from about 1.00pm. Attached is a menu selection which it is hoped will cater for all dietary needs. Any other special dietary needs should be notified with your booking. Members are welcome and encouraged to bring partners and guests and any OP who may yet not have availed themselves of Society membership. A booking form is set out below and should be completed with menu selections and names and returned to Derek Marlow with cheque in full payment no later than 29th September 2017 please (later bookings might be accepted but cannot be guaranteed).

This menu has been selected and will be prepared and served by advance catering students of the college, all under the supervision of experienced teaching staff. The restaurant, which is ordinarily open to the public Monday-Friday (special arrangements for SOP), is an essential part of student training and experience. Avenue 141 Restaurant delivers a high standard of food and service and has a well-regarded local reputation.
Meeting and Lunch Arrangements
The college has now completed major extension and building works. There is available on-site car parking with greater availability in proximity to the restaurant rather than Building C(see below).
Parking
When arriving by car, enter the site from the slip road off Bishopsfield Road and immediately turn right. Continue for about 30m and turn left along a road passing teaching rooms on your left and a building site (housing) on your right. At the end of the road turn left again and continue passing all buildings on your left until you reach a designated car parking area at the end of this cul-de-sac. This is the car park closest to the restaurant and there are disabled spaces.
Registration
Those attending the AGM (and lunch) will need to walk to the reception area in the William Price Building (C) to register and then proceed to the conference room at first floor in this building (lift available). Toilets are available close-by (marked Staff Male and Staff Female). There are disabled toilets also at ground and first floor levels.
Meeting
The meeting will commence at about 11.30am and is expected to finish about 12.15pm. For those not attending the meeting refreshment facilities may be available at ground floor in the William Price Building (C). After the meeting, members and guests should make their way on foot (level route – no steps) to Avenue 141 Restaurant. There will be staff and students on site who will offer directions (it’s a big campus). The Avenue 141 restaurant is in building D, where toilet facilities are also provided, including disabled.
Lunch
Lunch will be taken at about 1.00pm. Service will finish by 3.00pm as students have tutorials etc. to attend (staff will be available for a period after 3.00pm). In the restaurant there is a cash bar for pre-lunch drinks and wine orders. As those who have attended before will know, the wine list is not too extensive but the prices are very reasonable.
